Six Nation State – Your Money Or Your Life
Formed in Southampton back in 2004, when Six Nation State walk on stage you’d be forgiven for thinking members of five different bands had accidentally been thrown together en route to the venue. However, after four years of relentless touring their appearance is most definitely the only ramshackle thing about Six Nation State’s set-up.
Tighter than a crab’s hoo-ha, they veer effortlessly between chipper rock ‘n’ roll, boisterous ska-pop and on latest track Your Money Or Your Life note perfect doo-wop.
Frontman Gerry del Guercio’s bruised baritone relates a tale of a femme fatale over a Spector-ish backing of handclaps, harmonies and palm-muted arpeggios – it’s an absolute delight.
Variety, it would seem, is still the spice of life.

Seen them like 6 times, and this band is so underrated it's unbelievable! I love this track so much.

This is really boring, their older stuff has much more of an edge to it. This song is a rehash and goes nowhere. Not impressed.
