"Writing about love is a bit like writing about eggs,” according to Isaac Slade of The Fray. So, we scrambled the masters of radio-friendly melancholia to write and record a brand new song expecially for Valentine’s Day, in the space of just 24 hours.
With an iPhone packed with unused piano sketches and a head-full of romantic sentiments, the band tackle this month’s Q Challenge – in which we set an artist a troublesome task and they have to rise to the occasion. Read all about it in the new issue of Q, which is on sale now.
You can hear the results of the challenge, a track called Be The One (it may yet be a future B-side), throughout the next month on Q Radio. And you can hear it streamed below. Enjoy.
