This week saw the passing of John Martyn. Given his incredible booze intake which had already contributed to the loss of a leg, it is slightly amazing he continued to make such incredible music for as long as he did. It’s hard to believe that telly toff Derek Nimmo met the Sex Pistols at pretty much the height of their notoriety, but nevertheless here he is wandering into Sex, dressing up in bondage gear and meeting the band. Vivienne Westwood plays it very coolly. What a national treasure.
