Q is happy to announce that all 12 finalists of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition will get their big break on Q's very own Queen's Head Stage on Thursday June 25.
The lucky winners will kick off proceedings at the legendary Q venue from 11am, playing short sets over four hours in the run-up to the usual tremendous Queen's Head line-ups, which last year included Elbow, Santogold, Glasvegas, Roisin Murphy, and Kate Nash among others.
The Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition is still open - but hurry as the last day to enter is January 26. All you need to do is upload your details here ( you'll need a biog, one photo and two tracks) and you could be playing the Pyramid Stage, or have your track aired on Q Radio, over the weekend of the June 26-28.
In other Glastonbury news, the Glastonbury deposit scheme for tickets will close on February 1. A limited number of tickets will still be available from February 2 subject to availability and registration.
Book tickets or pay your balance at www.seetickets.com/g2009.
To register for tickets, upload your details and photo at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk or by sending an SAE to Glastonbury PO Box 2445, Glasgow, G40 9AG. Tickets can also be purchased on 0844 412 4635 (UK) and 0044 1159 934 183 (International enquiries).
