Dan Black, VV Brown, Baddies and Von Bondies are among the acts playing this year’s Camden Crawl as the first taste of the line-up was announced today.
The event, for which Q has teamed up with organisers to provide its own venue, runs from Friday April 24 to Sunday April 26 providing more than 30 hours of music across 40 venues within a mile and a half stretch of north London.
Traditionally, the full line-up and stage times are not announced until the night of the shows, with surprise acts appearing at many of the venues.

In addition there are spoken word events, quizzes, games and even karaoke (to the backing of ukuleles). Venues taking part in the festival – officially called the Gaymers Camden Crawl 2009 – include The Roundhouse, Koko, Electric Ballroom, Jazz Café, Dingwalls, Underworld, The Barfly, Dublin Castle and The Monarch.
