Blur have added a further date to their reunion shows – prior to their Hyde Park, London, performances. The newly announced gig will take take place at Manchester’s MEN Arena on June 26 with tickets going on sale on Friday at 9am.
The band will follow these shows with performances on July 2 and 3 in Hyde Park and a headline slot at Scotland’s T In The Park festival on July 11. Blur – who will be back to full strength as a quartet with Graham Coxon joining the band for the first time since 2002 – are also expected to announce a slot at Glastonbury which takes place over the same weekend as the MEN show.
Bruce Springsteen has also announced a Hyde Park show, headlining at the Hard Rock Calling festival on June 28 which would be his first festival appearance outside the US. Tickets also go on sale on Friday with other acts on the bill including Dave Matthews Band and The Gaslight Anthem.
