In her latest chart-topping single, Lily Allen coos: “I’ll take my clothes off and it will be shameless.” Now the star - who posed topless for our latest cover shoot - has revealed to Q, she is rather a fan of the naked female form.
In her interview for the latest edition, the singer explains that she is a regular at strip joints, despite finding them a touch "awkward".
She said: “I signed my publishing deal at Stringfellows and had a private dance. One of the naked ones. It was really embarrassing. It’s quite awkward if you’re not attracted to women, and I’m not.
“I went to Spearmint Rhino the other day actually for six hours. I’ve had lap dancers there. It’s fun. I like having a chat with the strippers,” Allen revealed.
The singer, who is currently at number one with her single The Fear, is regularly spotted out and about on the town flashing rather too much flesh – partly due to her aversion to bras. “They’re just tits,” she reasoned.
Allen’s flashing goes back years, she explained in the Q interview, and led to her hairdressed Michael trimming a little off the cost of her haircuts. “I used to flash Michael my tits for discount. It was a fiver for every flash. If I did it enough I’d get it it for free.”
