Newcomer Gary Go has been chosen to support Take That on the band’s forthcoming tour, it was announced today.
The singer, one of the figures highlighted in Q’s Faces of 2009 feature last month, is now set to play to more than a million people including a show at Wembley Stadium.
The Wembley show is pretty much a hometown show for Gary, 24, as he grew up actually grew up in the north London suburb, on the road leading to the stadium at which he will be heard by 72,000 people a night.
Mark Owen said: “I’m absolutely made up that Gary Go is touring with us and delighted to hear that things seem to be going so well for him.”
Go releases his new single Wonderful on February 16, while Take That’s The Circus Tour kicks off on June 5 at the Stadium Of Light in Sunderland.
