Saint Etienne albums to win

Comments

London Conversations is a new ‘best of’ collection by Saint Etienne drawing on the band’s near two-decade career. And we have copies of it to give away.

The trio, whose kitchen sink dramas and tales of club life were the soundtrack for a generation, have long weaved a path between loved-up dance, indie and the seeds of folktronica during their 18-year odyssey.

London Conversations – The Best of Saint Etienne comes in a number of formats, ranging, each of them including tracks such as Only Love Can Break Your Heart, He’s On The Phone, Who Do You Think You Are?, Join Our Club and three brand new tracks including new single Method Of Modern Love.

The album – released on Monday, February 16 - also marks the start of a Saint Etienne reissues campaign set up with the help of Universal Music Catalogue, which will stretch through 2009 and beyond. The band’s entire, ten-album back catalogue will be lovingly re-packaged as a double CD (with rare and previously unreleased recordings added to each) and released in pairs, over the next year. We have three copies of the album to give away. First prize is a triple-disc book version of the album which also includes a DVD of the band’s videos; second prize is a signed double CD promo copy of the album; third prize is a two-CD set.
