Huge demand for tickets has led Michael Jackson to add a further nine shows to his O2 Arena dates - with the possibility of further still.
But the massive interest has already led to problems with technical problems preventing some ticket sales. Fans who had pre-registered their interest could buy tickets from 7am today but those seats have sold out, as have another nine dates which were announced this morning. A statement from the show's promoters said further announcements about dates would follow.
Chris Edmonds, managing director of Ticketmaster said: “We have witnessed an unprecedented level of demand for the Michael Jackson concerts at The O2." He said fans who were unable to get through should continue to keep trying to buy.
Jackson announced last week that his O2 dates - his first major series of shows for more than a decade - would be his last in London. Fans have been asked to register at Jackson's website www.michaeljacksonlive.com, but further tickets will be made available when they officially go on sale to the general public on Friday at 7am.
