Michael Jackson has arrived in the UK to announce what is expected to be a run of dates at the O2,
The star landed in the UK yesterday, flying in to Luton Airport for his first UK visit since 2006 when he attended the World Music Awards for a brief appearance.
Jackson, who has seen his fortune slip away over recent years and closed his Neverland ranch, is expected to rake in millions of pounds from the expected British shows. The 50-year-old singer has been tipped to play up to 30 nights at the O2 with an official announcement expected tomorrow (Thursday).
The 02 has become the venue of choice for extended residencies and comebacks with Prince hosting a 21-night run in 2007 and Led Zeppelin playing their reunion show there the same year.
