To mark the imminent release of his debut album, we asked Esser to guide us through a typical day, pictorially. So he let us into his world with a set of snaps taken on the hoof as he and his band prepared for a gig in Norwich.
Follow Ben Esser and his gang - drummer Reuben Esser, Chris Schubert on samples, guitarist Matt Lord, and Grant Armour on bass - as they take on the challenges of a typical day on tour.
Musical magpie Esser, who played one of our Q Awards gigs late last year, releases his debut album Braveface on Monday, May 4. You can read a review in the June edition of Q (Q275) which went on sale on April 28.
