Lights Out - We Fell To Earth
Richard File of project UNKLE and sometime Mark LaneganandQueens of The Stone Age collaborator Wendy Rae Fowler make up We Fell To Earth.
The pair were both in the Californian desert when File was working with Josh Homme on UNKLE's War Stories album. It was in Joshua Tree’s mythical studio Rancho de la Luna where the two crossed paths for the first time. "I realised immediately after our first encounter that we needed to work together".
The results of their broad musical background is a chilled out electronica that avoids the trip-hop tag sometimes applied to UNKLE and subverts Wendy Rae's previous all-out-rock credentials.
Their self-titled debut EP is released on April 27 through In Stereo Records. The release coincides with their first ever live UK show, promising a four piece multi-instrumentalist band and stunning visuals at ICA in London on April 21.
