Lady GaGa is the latest star to confirm her attendance at this summer's Glastonbury Festival. The singer - currently at number five in the UK singles chart with Poker Face - is lined up to play the first full day of the event, on Friday, June 26.
The star, noted for her ridiculous dress sense, joins a bill which is topped by veteran stars. Headliners this year include acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young.
It was reported today that the event may be threatened by the outbreak of swine flu - however a festival spokesman told The Sun: "We are monitoring all developments. At this stage the festival is going ahead and we are continuing to work flat out to make it a success."
