Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody is to share his thoughts about great new bands in a short series of features for Qthemusic.com. The band's frontman will be highlighting the artists to which you should be directing your listening in the run-up to the release of his band's latest single The Planets Bend Between Us (from their most recent album A Hundred Million Suns) later this month.
Gary said: "I'm delighted to be asked to pick my current favourites over the next month on Qthemusic.com. Music is both my job and my hobby so I spend my days off getting my hands on, and listening to, new music.
"I've plenty to talk about as music is arguably at its most fascinating right now. The depth, variety, quantity and quality at its finest and fizziest for many years, so now to only pick one from the list for this week ...."
Gary's first choice is expected to land tomorrow. We will also be bringing you a selection of tour photos from the band in the near future.
