Win: VIP Glastonbury

Comments

You may have noticed Glastonbury is looming. And as official media sponsors of the event, Q - in association with the good folk at Tuborg and myhab - is offering one unfeasibly lucky reader and Three! of their friends the chance to experience the world's greatest musical festival in unforgettable fashion.

The winner of what we're calling - entirely accurately - The Ultimate Glastonbury Experience will get to spend the weekend
of 26-28 June, along with four lucky mates, being given the following:

Main Prize
- A Chauffeur-driven car to Bristol Airport
- A helicopter ride to the Glastonbury site from Bristol Airport
- Four VIP hospitality passes to Glastonbury festival
- Luxury myhab accommodation to sleep in backstage with access to showers. Yes, showers!
- The opportunity to interview a band backstage at Q's own Queen's Head Stage for Qthemusic.com (this is optional)

And if all that's not enough, our good friends at Tuborg will help kick-start the fun with a generous supply of beer for the weekend.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Plus there's more!

  • Hey hey hey...wait a minute! Standard rules for competitions and all that, I know...but what've you got against non-UK residents? I happen to live in Paris: do you think I couldn't make that connection to Bristol if I won?
For what it's worth - and I don't want to brag - I was one of the team, along with Eavis, Bella Churchill, Jade, John Stoneman, Bill Harkin - who revived the festival in 79. Haven't been there since...moved on, you know. I'd like to enter the goddamn comp, goddamn it. Arriving by chopper is the only way I could possibly show my face again after all this time.

  • Totally disagree with idea of a helicopter flight as the part of the prize. Not environmentally friendly. It maybe shows how removed Q mag is from the ethos of what Glastonbury is about and of course its readers.

  • I'll have a "Hungry Heart" if I dont win, but It'll be "Magic" if I do, you'll have to rename Glasto "Lucky Town" when I pick up "My Beutiful Reward". Just to think I could be a "Local Hero" if I share this with my friends, surely there will be no more "Waiting on a sunny Day" when The Boss comes on or maybe we should just get down in "The Big Muddy" and wallow... Dont make me stay in "My Home Town" and watch "57 Channels" cause you know..."theres nothin on"
