1. Promotion open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Only one entry per person.
4. To enter, participants should visit [Insert Address] ("the Website") complete their personal details on the registration form and answer the following question:
Which one of these rock legends will be making their first ever UK festival appearance at this year's Glastonbury?
a) Bruce Springsteen
b) Paul McCartney
c) Paul Weller
5. Entries to be received on-line by [Midnight 9 June 2009] ("the Closing Date").
6. There is one Main Prize and 23 Runners-Up prizes to be won. The Main Prize consists of (i) four VIP hospitality passes to Glastonbury 2009 festival; (ii) helicopter ride from Bristol Airport to landing site in Glastonbury; (iii) luxury backstage myhab sleeping accommodation with showers; and (iv) a chance to interview a band backstage at Q's own Queen's Head Stage for Qthemusic.com (subject to availability of bands). Each Runners-Up prize consists of a pair of VIP camping tickets to the Glastonbury 2009 festival. All guests must be 18 years or over. All other costs associated with accepting a prize, including all spending money at Glastonbury, shall be the responsibility of the winners and their guests.
7. The Main Prize winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all valid entries answering the question correctly. The Runners-Up will be the next 23 valid entries drawn from all correct entries after the Main Prize Winner. The prize draw will take place on June 10, 2009, with all winners notified within a further 3 working days.
8. The selection of all winning entries will be supervised by an independent person. The result of the prize draw is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. All prizes are as stated, are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives. The Promoter reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value should any of the prizes or part thereof become unavailable for any reason.
10. In the event that the Promoter is unable to make contact with a prize winner within 3 days of the draw, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw the prize and award it to an alternative winner.
11. All prize winners' details (name and county) will be available for six weeks only after the draw takes place by sending an SAE to Q Magazine, Mappin House, 4 Winsley Street, W1W 8HF to be received after 7th July 2009.
12. Proof of submitting your entry is not proof of receipt of an entry by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for any entries that fail to be received for any technical reason whatsoever.
13. By receipt of their prize, a winner and their guest agree to release and hold harmless the Promoter and anyone professionally connected with the promotion, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, prize suppliers, their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death (except where such personal injury or death is the result of negligence by one or more of the Released Parties), or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
14. By taking part in promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any breach of these terms and conditions by a prize winner may result in forfeiture of their prize.
15. The Main Prize Winner may be required to participate in related publicity.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
