Q teamed up with the folks behind the UK's biggest music industry event - the London International Music Show (London ExCeL, Docklands 11-14 June 2009) - to offer one Q reader ten grand's worth of equipment and 20 runners up the chance to attend the LIMS event for free.
Now, after much anticipation and thousands of entries we can officially announce the winner of the main prize, 10 thousand pounds of musical equipment

James Pitt from Thames Ditton has won the entire haul (pictured below) of musical gear! That's three guitars, a bass, amps, a drum kit, mics, recording equipment (including a portastudio), leads and other accessories - pretty much everything a band or aspiring musician could need ...
Plus that also includes the guitar signed by Dave Grohl of the
Foo Fighters, Juliette Lewis and The Holloways.
A bit rusty on the guitar James? No need to worry, the full line-up for the weekends sessions has just been announced, including appearances from guitar gods Steve Vai and Nicko McBrain from Iron Maiden.
