Graham Coxon:
I’ve just got here and I’ve got my plans in place. A bit of Bruce tonight and then I’ll be having the Quo for breakfast. I’m feeling ok about our gig, no big match nerves really. I’m slightly on stand-by mode, keeping my energy in reserve, but we had a gig in Manchester last night that was brilliant so I think we should be ok.
Rolf Harris:
Great, the best one ever. The crowd was just enormous. I know the first year I was here I got 85,000 but this one felt just as big. They tell me it was the busiest the fields ever been which is just a thrill. I love this place, there really is something special about it. That was my fifth visit and it just gets better and better. Would I come back? If they’d have me I would come here a month early if I had to.
None of us get too nervous really, we’re just looking forward to it. I’ll not be getting out and about much, I certainly don’t think I’ll be doing a figure of 8 round the site but there’s plenty that I can do back here (adopts knowing look).
Nicola Roberts, Girls Aloud:
It’s my first time here and I’m having a right laugh. I’m only here for one day though, I’m not doing any of that camping shit. I’ve just seen Dizzee Rascal who was brilliant and I’m going to go and La Roux tonight but I might slip in a bit of Bruce.
I’m alright getting out and about, no one hassles you and I just ignore the paps floating around. Would we play here? I don’t know, I’ll have to have a word with the girls…
