Producer of the moment Mark Ronson and Daniel Merriweather played a gig together last night then partied it up to celebrate the release of the latter's new album Love And War, which came out this week.
Ronson also dj at the event performed with Merriweather then played a personalised remix of Duran Duran's Rio where the lyric "her name is Rio" has been altered to be "his name is Ronson". The track sounded like it had been sung by the Duran Duran, possibly a custom version?
Ronson originally introduced the world to Merriweather through Stop Me, his dance lead cover of The Smiths Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before.
The Kaiser Chiefs and Beth Ditto were also at the Bacardi event, sipping mojito's at London's Bloomsbury Ballroom. Beth was feeling slightly under the weather, staying for a couple of mojitos to catch up with Ricky from the Kaiser Chiefs before heading off.
