War Child gig is go

Comments

The Filthy Dukes, We Have Band and Jeremy Warmsley are all confirmed with a host of other bands and djs to play this year's Army Of You gig for charity War Child.

The event which takes place on Wednesday July 15 at The Tabernacle, Notting Hill, continues their tradition of featuring some of the best up and coming acts. Previous year's gigs have seen Friendly Fires, The Noisettes and The Rumble Strips all play to sold-out crowds.

The gig helps raise awareness and funds for the charity which works in some of the world's most dangerous war zones including Iraq, Afghanistan, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It's aim is to aid children who are hit hardest by war and its consequences - including child soldiers, street children and children in prison.

The live acts will be supported by special DJ sets from Matt Horne, StopMakingMe, Leo Greenslade and Firas.
