  • Wow, what a stunningly bland, boring and terrible year for music this is.

    God save us all.

  • Friendly Fires, florence and the machine or glasvegas deserve to win, however it will probably be - as usual some boring act who we never hear of again...

  • Lise Hannigan for me. Her album SEA SEW is beautiful. She was with Damiem Rice and sung 'Some Surprise' with Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Q's Guest Editor.

    Lots of love

  • Definitely Kasabian should win. They made a very fresh and creative album which is absolutely entertaining, varied and at least different from their other records, again. But Bat for Lashes isn't bad as well.

  • Where's Oasis? Is it because it was last year? It's just it destroys everything on that list- Dig out your soul is a true masterpiece
