Jet, quite deceptively, have managed to become a monster-sized rock band.
Having sold over four million albums worldwide they've created a pandemic of involuntary air guitaring, whilst securing a position in the upper echelons of the charts.
Jet's up and coming first single from their new album, She's a Genius, proves and justifies their global status. Taking inspiration from the My Sharona school of riff making, they pump out banging rock n roll with insouciant ease. The trademark bass and guitar unisons - of the type that could make even Status Quo jealous are there in spades.
Combined with front man Nic Cester's macho grizzle it creates solid, catchy, radio-friendly rock that's hard not to be drawn to.
The sing-along hit of the...autumn, no doubt.
