You don't get many melancholic feel-good rock n roll tunes nowadays. Pictures Of Me, as such, has already been around a while, but is nevertheless a good effort from London quartet Officer Kicks.
It boasts anything you want from your typical one bass/ one guitar/ one drummer rock band, and adds a mighty fine vocal line with oddly unsettling lyrics about teenage queens carrying pictures of men in their pockets.
With some new material soon to emerge, keep a lookout for this band when you're in the mood for some sweaty leathery rock. Until then, this will do fine.

Oh my god Officer Kicks are brilliant. I saw them supporting Jarvis Cocker and they reminded me of Led Zeppelin AND The Arctic Monkeys, if that's possible. Great tune.

Great song! Great band! If you get chance to see them live they should not be missed. They are brilliant! I can't wait to get my hands on the new album.
