Mike Skinner recently revealed in an interview that after completing The Streets next (and supposedly last) album, he's off to make a movie. What will it be like? Here are five suggestions:
1. Original Pirate Material
After a year of lengthy sessions filming new releases with his mobile phone camera, Mike Skinner embarks on some serious cross-cutting, before replacing all dialogue with a simple, but effective "oi!"
2. Flick But You Know It
Skinner directs a happy-go-lucky teen comedy in which the protagonist, a Brummie hoodlum, is sent to a Californian private school, only to be baffled by all the movie cameras that follow him. Cue an abundance of in-camera stares and box laughter.
3. Dry Yo Eyez
Skinner directs and co-stars in this moving and realistic portrayal of a young white man living in early 90's Bronx. Skinner's character, a tough but charming thug whose hard side is only softened by the presence of his much-loved poodle Biggie, goes through a wide range of emotions when Biggie is kidnapped by rivalling gang EeztSyde. Keira Knightley co-stars.
4. Everything Is Borrowed
The Streets' frontman film an Oasis live show.
5. When You Wasn't Famous
Cheryl Cole stars in this story of a Geordie girl rising to fame via a skantily-clad female pop band. Features a cameo by director Skinner as a pranged out chav, and Chris Tucker as Ashley Cole.
Which film would you like to see be made by The Streets' frontman?

Love the Cheryl Cole vehicle/When You Wasn't Famous, but I've got another idea.
Sh*t Happens - A True Story.
An inspirational, picaresque comedy about a young mother, mown down by a hit-and-run driver who is pronounced dead, disabled and permanently brain damaged - but she keeps smiling through.
A Baldwin/Skinner Production, based on a true story, inspired by The Streets, featuring original MS soundtrack (borrowing heavily from A Grand Don't Come for Free).
Whatdoya think? Pass it on...
