The U2 Spider-man musical we previously spoke to The Edge about is reportedly in trouble. The project, which both he and Bono are involved in has reportedly had work halted due to cashflow problems, Variety reports.
The technically ambitious production, estimated to cost over $35m dollars has halted due "cashflow obstacles that producers... are working to resolve," claims the publication.
Spider-man, Turn Off The Darkis scheduled to open on Broadway in March 2010 with actress Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cumming both confirmed to play love interest Mary Jane and The Green Goblin respectively.
Bono and The Edge have written the words and music for the project which is being directed by Julie Taymor, former director of the Lion King musical.
With The Edge previously claiming rock stars are like Spider-man even more reason to believe any hiccups will be fixed quite quickly...
