Mic Wright caught up with Billy at Electric Picnic and put your twitter questions to him.
Did your Uncle really play for Red Star Belgrade?
No he played for Fulham but it didn't rhyme! He was a centre-half.

Given the record of New Labour (wars, civil rights) what does he think the future is for socialism in the UK?
It depends how you define socialism. If we're talking about a society where the potential of the individual is supported and nutured by the collective provision of free healthcare, education, decent public housing and proper education, then that's possible. If he's thinking about the abolition of capitalism...not right now.

You used to be soldier, what does you think of the forces these days?
I think they're ordinary people doing an extraordinary job. We ask a lot of them, we send them in to very difficult situations like Afghanistan and worst of all we don't give them the right kit to protect them or to the job.
I'd like people from our country to go out and make the world a safer place. Sometimes that has to be done through force of arms but if we are going to do that to people, they need to know why they're there. I think it's shameful that we send our young people out there without the means they need to be protected.
