Hi.
Okay so let's see we crossed half the USA from Dallas to Los Angeles. I think our British tour manager Larry went insane as the huge landscapes never stopped going by:
Good thing was we got to pick $200 worth of regionally legal fireworks for the music video we were planning on making in LA. When we got to LA we got out of the van down in the LA river at 6am as the sun was coming up and started a day of filming.
The LA river is that huge mostly empty concrete riverbed in downtown where they filmed scenes from Terminator 2 and Grease. The idea for the video was that I was going to find a reel-to-reel tape machine and mic out there in the river and start recording a song using mainly things that don't make musical sounds.
Started out with a handshake and later a huge hawk lands on Tony's arm... we broke a mirror with myself in it and then reversed the shot... Jerm did some spray paint art on the wall, and I wrote "I'll even stay with you in your most panicked years." in spray paint along the dirty river. Then we set off all our fireworks and ran around. It was pretty fun and maybe will be an Ok video. Here is the hawk:
Now we are in a hotel in London and I can see the Royal Albert Hall and London Eye from the window. Tomorrow driving to Amsterdam. I'll let you know about that later...
