What we've learned today:
1. The Beatles' original contract is now on display at Liverpool's Beatles Story exhibition, 47 years since its completion. See it now - and the signatures of Paul and George's dads on behalf of their underage sons, plus Lennon's, in the wrong place - before it disappears and ends up on eBay.

2. Hawkwind guitarist Huw Lloyd-Langton is raising funds for a radical cancer treatment with a new single PDT - Photodynamic Therapy. See www.huwlloyd-langton.co.uk and www.killingcancer.co.uk for details.

3. Dananananaykroyd have some free shows lined up with Xbox Reverb, starting September 29 in Birmingham at a secret venue. Go to www.xbox.com/reverb for info.

4. Hammer Horror is celebrated in all it gory, saucy glory with a neat exhibition at Idea Gallery in East London over the Hallowe'en period, starting October 27. And it's free! www.ideageneration.co.uk.

5. Marilyn Manson has swine flu. He has made it clear on Facebook that his "past choices in women have in no way contributed" to this condition. Thanks for that info, Mazza.

6. Justin Timberlake is lined-up to play the role of Facebook founding president Sean Parker in a new film.

7. Courtney Love is quite cross about the latest Guitar Hero game's depiction of deceased hubby Kurt Cobain.

8. Iron Maiden guitarist Steve Harris is closing his Portuguese pub, Eddie's Bar, after 20 years of boozy business.

9. Q online finds it really hard to spell Dananananaykroyd without looking it up, or annoying other Q peeps in our immediate vicinity.

10. There is a staff discount at our local hairdressers. Woop!

Daily office highlight: Bruce Springsteen's 60th birthday, of course.

Oasis-watch:
Gem is having a pint and pie somewhere with erstwhile Q Radio dude Eddie Piller. Probably.

On the office stereo:
- Biffy Clyro. Again.
- Alphabeat sampler
- Chase and Status
- Ali Love
