What we've learned today:

3.The Beatles thought "a lot" about reforming according to Paul McCartney.

4. Dizzee Rascal is set to play BBC's Electric Proms. With a 16-piece orchestra. Could someone get Matt Bellamy on the phone? Also announced: Doves and Smokey Robinson.

5. Lily Allen has hit out at file-sharing despite gaining a substantial amount of her fanbase through MySpace long before her debut Alright, Still. How things change.

6. Kanye West and Lady GaGa are set to tour the States together.

7. Elton John was denied adopting a HIV-positive Ukrainian baby because he is "too old and unmarried". I guess it's gonna be a long long time anyone?

8. Radiohead's marathon-friendly drummer Phil Selway is releasing a solo album. Where he sings.

9. Frightened Rabbit have a new single in the works. Written in Crail - a seaside town in Scotland, the new album has nautical references.
