Omar: I'm really excited about Them Crooked Vultures.
Charlie: I'd say the most exciting thing for me at the moment is Bon Iver. I just bought the Blood Bank EP and I wanted to make love to the speakers.
Dan: I'm going to go for M83, I've been obsessed with them for about three months.
Alex: Frightened Rabbit are still exciting me.
Charlie: Bring Me The Horizon!
4 things we take on tour:
Charlie: My iPod.
Omar: My gyroscope for exercising my wrist.
Alex: I take my Wacom Tablet for drawing on my computer. When you're sitting down and there's nothing to do, it's nice to sit down and be creative.
Dan: My wife bought my a Ray Mears Survial Kit - it has a knife, an axe and a climbing tool.
Alex: You don't take that on tour do you?
Dan: Yeah. You just don't know about it.
3 things we hate about festivals:
Dan: Festival tips questions!
Charlie: I'd say - I just went to lay a Cleveland steamer and couldn't because someone had already blocked the loo. I had to go to the ladies. You get caught in there and you look like a pervert.
Alex: wacky people.
Charlie: yeah, forced fun. And finally - bad stage sound. If we can't tell how we sound it drive me insane.
2 great things that have happened to Fightstar this year:
Charlie: Recording a string orchestra at the same studios where Batman and Band Of Brothers were recorded. And playing the main stage at Reading Festival. The last time we did that I was drunk.
1 festival advice:
Charlie: If you go to a festival where the Deftones are playing, you're stupid.
Alex: Oh and bring a Ray Mears book. If you lose everything it'll help you survive.
Omar: If you've lost everything, you've probably lost the book too.
