Certainly an impressive voice, Irish-born Rebecca Collins ventures where Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Fiona Apple once laid their souls bare on her stand-out track Involved: An unassuming melody leading way to a climatic frenzy of instrumental madness before softly easing out into the night.
It is, of course, a delightfully schizophrenic and compelling jazz-tinged pop tune with enough details to keep you interested for quite some time. A bit strange then, that we didn't discover this before - Collins released the song, taken from the album Chameleon Blues, on her own label last year.
But as we all know, great songs, like this, are timeless.
