Vampire Weekend have announced the full release-details of their second album.
The American indie/afrobeat quartet revealed that Contra, the follow-up to their successful debut album, will be released on January 11, 2010.
Fans of the band may already have heard a couple tracks from the upcoming album during their support slot for Blur in Hyde Park this summer, where White Sky and Cousins were both previewed.
Vampire Weekend is also one of the bands featured on Q's new compilation: Q Anthems.
