Critically knighted Wild Beasts return to your ears and toes with the second single from their albumTwo Dancers.
All The King's Men, probably the best song to ever namecheck "girls from Hounslow", and typically slightly daft and infectious, occupies your attention from Tom Fleming's first frantic falsetto through primal harmonies to lyrics that serenade girls from the peripheries of big city life.
A decidedly drugged-out, spaced-out track of primordial quirkiness, Fleming's range-defying vocal is heavily layered over backing tracks that never really climax, but more importantly, never lets you down.
A few more fans for the Kendal group then? Well deserved.
All The King's Men is out October 5.

This is one of those songs that you would be happy to listen and enjoy but one that wouldn't stick in your head and be able to sing along with. A great song, well constructed. I rate it 4 Stars.
