It's Friday. And if it's one day of the week where guilty pleasures should be opened up to the world, then it's Friday.
Not that Alphabeat is a guilty pleasure per se, although their latest single The Spell is ever so camp and europoppy. The Danes do indeed snap, crackle, pop and dance the night away on a discopop dancefloor-filler so catchy and naive it makes Robyn seem intellectual. Which, of course, is a good thing.
Now bring on the weekend.
Oh, and did we mention that Alphabeat are playing an exclusive roof-raising gig at Hard Rock Cafe as part of QTheMusicClub on November 5? Well, they are. And you can win tickets for this fun-fuelled night here.
