Best Act In The World Today - presented by Russian Standard Vodka
Muse were named Best Act In The World Today at the Q Awards 2009 with Russian Standard Vodka.
The trio, who released their gargantous fifth album earlier this year, were handed the award by Q Editor Paul Rees, before Al Murray provided them with a raw chicken for the forthcoming apocaplypse mentioned in their album, The Resistance.

I didn't vote for Muse, cause I had to choose between them and another band I love. so I choose the other band, cause I like them more. But I am happy that Muse won, cause they do deserve it, altough it wasn't my first choice. Muse rules :)

I would have said they deserved to win if they hadn't released this cliche, boring, pointless new record; The Resistance....to write any more good songs. Yet another band would rather write chart-worthy songs that sound like Lady Gaga or Queen wrote them. I expect something that sounds original. Quit thinking your bloody Brian May, Matt.
