Best Album - Presented by Citroen
Recent The Gigs-headliner Kasabian won the Best Album award for their third LP West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum today at the Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka.
The acclaimed album saw the band take the stage to recieve the award from Fearne Cotton and Stereophonic's Kelly Jones.
Said Jones: "I'm sitting next to Robert Plant, I'm having a f***ing great time".
Singer Tom Meighan thanked Q readers for voted before stumbling with regards to the true nature of the award: "Thanks for best live album....best live..best album" prompting our esteemed host Al Murray to shout "Jesus Christ (...) pay attention you wankers!"
