Edwyn Collins won the Q Legend award at the Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka earlier this week.
Collins made a remarkable recovery after suffering two major cerebral hemorrhages in 2005, and received standing ovation when he was presented with the award on Monday.
A Girl Like You was released in 1994, and is Collins' biggest hit to date.
