
Q Classic Album
U2 won the Q Classic Album award for their 1984 album The Unforgettable Fire at today's Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka.
The album, which received five stars from Q upon its release, has sold more than 600,000 copies in the UK alone and went straight to #1 in the charts.
U2, currently touring the US, sent a video stating thanking Q for their support and accepting also on behalf of Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno.

Truly deserved a fantastic album with some absolutely sublime songs on it, Promenade, Wire, Elvis Presley & America, Bad, sort of homecoming the list is endless ! Often overlooked for the more commercial Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby.
