3. John Barnes is on-board for re-doing his World In Motion-rap if New Order are asked to revamp their 1990 World Cup classic, according to bassist Peter Hook.
4. Apparently, David Beckham was supposed to do the rap for a 2002 version, but the FA stepped in at the last minute. Bastards.
5. Florence and The Machine have lost their equipment in a trailer fire in Germany. Florence Welsh stated "You could hear the harp's strings ping in the fire. Strange sound. We recorded it and I want to use it in a song".
6. Lady GaGa covered John Lennon's Imagine during a human rights rally in Washington DC.
7. Pete Doherty has been admitted to hospital with "breathing difficulties". Possibly upon hearing of Lady GaGa's choice of cover.
8. Nick Cave has apologised to Kylie Minogue and Avril Lavigne for featuring them in his latest novel as his protagonist's obsessions.
9. Albert Hammond Jr has released his first clothing line.
