The debut single of Yorkshire-born singer-songwriter Rob Cowen and his band The Dissidents, is a Bruce Springsteen one indeed. Not that there's anything wrong with that, far from it.
The pounding and big guitars of Heartache, like The Boss circa Born To Run, are layered underneath big choruses, bigger harmonies and a well-placed glockenspiel on this heartfelt track of stadium-sized, singalong-friendly and intoxicatingly engaging open-road rock.
Heartache is out now.

I love this track! A fantastic feel good, sing a long, wave your hands in the air tune! I have seen these guys live and they are totally awesome!

Totally Bias! Rob is my cousin and we had a great weekend at cousin Stuart's in Wiltshire on the weekend of 2nd 3rd & 4th of July 2010. I was priviliged to have gammed with plus cousin Simon. Can't wait for next time we get together for family and music!!
