Q Idol
Spandau Ballet won this year's Q Idol award at the Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka.The London quintet had four UK top 10 albums and ten UK top 10 singles between 1980-86, reaching international fame with their 1983 album True.
Accepting the award, they wre grateful for the warm reception their comeback has recieved "Thanks very much, it's great to be back after twenty years". After splitting in 1990, the band recently re-formed for a successful UK tour, and will release a new album in November.

Wahoo!!! I am sooo happy for the guys, so well deserved for sure. They are sounding better than ever.. Here's to some number one singles and albums but most of all I would love to see them singing Gold at the Olympics in 2012

Great to see Spandau Ballet back and better than ever!.They truely deserve this award!.It's great these guys have managed to settle their differences.I saw them live at The 02 Arena last week (something i never thought i'd see a few years back!) and they were absolutely fantastic!!.Here's too more tours and albums!,from these great Legends!.

Amazing, the boys are back better than ever, flew to the UK for the concert and it was amazing, they deserve the accolades they receive they have matured in ways unimaginable! Hope they do a show in Canada and I can see them again. All I can say is Spandau forever!!!

So thankful that their fate got them again to reformation! still kicking & rocking their signature songs... looking great... sounds great as ever!
Hope they'll tour in Philippines as well!
