The Q Inspiration Award - presented by HMV
The hugely influental The Specials were today handed the Q Inspiration Awards at the Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka.
Recieving the accolade from Don Letts and a fashionably late Amy Winehouse, the Q Inspiration winners said "Respect to Steve Blackwell and my aunt", before using the opportunity to tear through "the fat, Holocaust-denying c**t Nick Griffin"
The Specials found great success in the late 70's/early 80's with songs like Ghost Town, Too Much Too Young and A Message To You, Rudy.

I saw the specials play at the brixton academy 2009 ,best gig in the world boys best audience by far ,respect to 1 and all.
