Q Legend
Scottish singer-songwriter Edwyn Collins received the Q Legend award today at the Q Awards with Russian Standard Vodka.
Collins, who made a remarkable recovery after suffering two major cerebral hemorrhages in 2005, received a standing ovation when he was presented with the award from The Cribs.
Speech: "What can i say... my speech is dodgy, but my singing is fine. I have ten new songs that's kinda like.. northern soul of course. And it's good to be back."
He then left the stage aided by his wife Grace, a tremendous support for Collins in the past years, with the room filled with rapturous applause.

A very well deserved award! Hearty congratulations to Edwyn, Grace, Will and all those that have helped make the impossible possible.
Oh, and your singing is more than fine Edwyn - had the privilege to hear and meet you at the gig in Fort William. Louise (Waddle) sends her love.
