John Mayer Q gig postponed

Grammy award winning musician John Mayer has had to postpone his forthcoming Q The Music Club show until January 11, 2010. The gig, scheduled for November 30 has been moved as his UK trip has had to be postponed until the New Year due to other commitments.

The good news is there's now more time to enter to see him play the intimate and exclusive gig for Q Readers!

On Monday, January 11, the US guitarist/songwriter will take to the legendary Hard Rock Cafe stage for a one-off, exclusive gig as part of Sony Ericsson Presents Q The Music Club Live At Hard Rock Cafe. Fresh from putting the finishing touches to his newly released fourth album, Battle Studies, Mayer promises to unveil new material and, of course, play selections from his multi-platinum-selling back catalogue.

The audience for each Sony Ericsson Presents Q The Music Club Live At Hard Rock Cafe is made up of the world's most discerning music fans (ie, you) and ­ here¹s the best bit ­ admission is absolutely free!

Previous artists who have played these intimate, unique gigs include the esteemed likes of Elbow, Stereophonics, Travis, Reverend & The Makers, Noisettes, Jet, Mr Hudson, The View, Jamie Cullum, The Rumble Strips, Richard Hawley, Noah And The Whale, Bat For Lashes, The Fratellis, Guillemots, Shack and Roísín Murphy.
