Fresh from a headlining show at London's Heaven and a stint of UK dates supporting the mighty Biffy Clyro, Manchester Orchestra (an Atlanta rock quintet) certainly is a band of the moment.
Their new single Shake It Up is a genre-embracing and adrenaline-sprinkled rock tune reminiscent of a more saturated, less anguished Modest Mouse, and nods as much to the legacy of Bruce Springsteen channeled through Alberta Cross, as Biffy themselves and even (quiet now..) emo.
It is, inevitably, a miniature chaos of quiet bit/loud bit which works so inexplicably well that we forgive them for nicking the verse from Temper Trap's Science Of Fear.
Keep an eye on this lot.
