What we've learned today:
1. Ozzy Osbourne was reportedly 'shocked' when Paul McCartney declined to put down a bass track on of his songs. The Prince Of Darkness supposedly said to Macca when the latter felt he could not improve Ozzy's track:'Are you kidding? You could piss on the record and I'd make it my life'.
2. Janet Jackson blames her brother's doctor Conrad Murray for his death. "He was the one that was administering. I think he is responsible," Jackson stated in an interview with ABC News.
3. The Velvet Underground are reforming....for a talk about the band's history and legacy. Lou Reed will join drummer Maureen Tucker and bassist Doug Yule for a rare talk at the New York Public Library.
4. PiL are re-releasing Metal Box.
5. Bjork has written a track for an upcoming Moomins film.
6. Jay-Z, fresh from joining wife Beyonce onstage at her O2 concert, made a surprise appearance at Rihanna's 'secret' Brixton Academy gig.
7. The original Sugababes-lineup are not re-forming, according to founding member Keisha Buchanan.
8. Robert de Niro reportedly wants to join rapper 50 Cent in the studio. Will we find Travis Barker in da club? Hopefully not.
9. Fall Out Boy are calling it a day. For now. "I don't know the future of Fall Out Boy" says chief songwriter Pete Wentz. "We need to take a break and we'll come back...maybe".
