What we've learned today:
1. The East Anglian Railway Museum will be decorated with a blue plaque to commemorate that it was the spot of the first ever gig by Blur, back when they were called Seymor.
2. Jay-Z will perform at the 2010 BRIT awards.
3. Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood and Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers have both contributed to the new Bryan Ferry album.
4. The controversial Mercury Prize-winner Speech Debelle has sacked her label.
5. Timbaland has removed Chris Brown's contribution to his new album just two weeks prior to its release.
6. Sade will release their first album in a decade next year.
7. Paul Weller will perform two nights in a row at London's Royal Albert Hall in May next year.
8. White Lies admit they are under "a lot of pressure". The band, who headlined one of Q's special gigs leading up to the Q Awards 2009 with Russian Standard Vodka, are currently recording material for their second, as-yet untitled album.
