
What we've learned today:
1. Damon Albarn has revealed that the new Gorillaz album will be called Plastic Beach. The album, features among other acts, the Syrian National Orchestra, and is, according to Albarn about "the mythical aspects of Britain".
2. Stella McCartney is working on a range of leather-free footwear with Morrissey, according to the designer.
3. Nine Inch Nails are selling off their touring equipment eBay. Trent Reznor & co played their last concert in September.
4. More Damon Albarn news. January 19 will see the cinematic release of a documentary about the Blur reunion earlier this year, and depicts the band from early rehearsal stages through their enormous summer shows. We are officially excited.
5. ...and in other Morrissey news, the former Smiths singer has stated that he considers suicide to be "an honorable act". Appearing on Desert Island Discs, Morrissey was asked by presenter Kirsty Young if he had considered "shuffling off this mortal coil at a time of your own choosing", whereupon the singer answered "Yes, I have. I think self-destruction is honourable. I always thought it was. It's an act of great control and I understand people who do it."
