RHCP announce first live show since disbanding

Comments

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced their first show since going on a short-lived hiatus in 2008.

The Funky Monks will perform at the MusiCares 2010 Person Of The Year, a Neil Young tribute concert, with their full lineup, including guitarist John Frusicante and recent Thom Yorke-collaborator Flea.

Other artists performing at the event, which takes place in Los Angeles on January 29, 2010, include Wilco, Norah Jones and Young's old partners Crosby, Stills & Nash.

The Chili Peppers are, according to drummer Chad Smith, working on a follow-up to 2006's double-album Stadium Arcadium.
